In the late 1980s, when animation software was expensive, and Amiga computers were -- by today's standards -- small and slow, they were kept as busy as possible doing paying animations. Projects just for laughs were not practical. Today's computers are much faster (and the software, interestingly, is still expensive.) When the little man on your shoulder jabs you with that pitchfork, it's now possible to indulge those whims ... These video clips are heavily compressed to minimize download times. Many Web users still "dial in", and in any case nobody should have to wait for a 60 megabyte single video clip. However, compression does unavoidably trade off image quality for size. |

After you've been in the video business for a while, there are occasionally some things that you really don't want credit for ... or your name on ... but which require a trailer anyway.

This was done as a Christmas gift for a local production studio that has been a good client. With "only minor changes" to their normal trailer, they now have one appropriate for the season ...
